Ceanothus cordulatus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rhamnaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Oregon hingga Meksiko (Baja California bagian utara). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan whitethorn ceanothus. Nama ilmiah Ceanothus cordulatus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Albert Kellogg pada tahun 1863.
