Chamaecrista chamaecristoides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan) yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu kecil atau semak. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Texas tenggara hingga Meksiko. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan beach sensitive pea. Nama ilmiah Chamaecrista chamaecristoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Louis Théodore Frederic Colladon pada tahun 1901.
