Chamaecrista obcordata merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Lesser Antilles. Nama ilmiah Chamaecrista obcordata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Olof Peter Swartz pada tahun 1917.
