Chamaecrista reducta merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Madagaskar tengah. Nama ilmiah Chamaecrista reducta pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Patrick Micklethwait Brenan pada tahun 1995.
