Senopodi adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Nama ilmiah Chenopodium ambrosioides diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1753. Nama spesies ini merupakan sinonim dari Dysphania ambrosioides.
