Chenopodium berlandieri adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Utara hingga Honduras. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan pitseed goosefoot. Nama ilmiah Chenopodium berlandieri diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Christian Horace Bénédict Alfred Moquin-Tandon pada tahun 1840.
