Chenopodium carnosulum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia hingga Chili selatan. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan ridged goosefoot. Nama ilmiah Chenopodium carnosulum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Christian Horace Bénédict Alfred Moquin-Tandon pada tahun 1849.
