Chlorophytum affine merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asparagaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat hingga Kenya dan Zambia. Nama ilmiah Chlorophytum affine pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Gilbert Baker pada tahun 1875.
