Chorizanthe rectispina merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah California (Monterey County selatan, San Luis Obispo County). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan prickly spineflower. Nama ilmiah Chorizanthe rectispina pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1934.
