Chorizanthe xanti merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah California selatan. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan riverside spineflower. Nama ilmiah Chorizanthe xanti pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Sereno Watson pada tahun 1877.
