Chromolaena glaberrima adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Chromolaena glaberrima diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1970.
