Chromolaena haenkeana merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Chromolaena haenkeana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1970.
