Chromolaena scabra merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Kolombia hingga Ekuador. Nama ilmiah Chromolaena scabra diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Linnaeus the Younger pada tahun 1970.
