Chrysothemis dichroa merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Gesneriaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia hingga Venezuela. Nama ilmiah Chrysothemis dichroa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Anthonius Josephus Maria Leeuwenberg pada tahun 1958.
