Cipuropsis asplundii merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Bromeliaceae (suku nanas-nanasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ekuador hingga Peru. Nama ilmiah Cipuropsis asplundii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Lyman Bradford Smith pada tahun 2018.
