Clematis triloba adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu dari famili Ranunculaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menjalar. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kenya hingga Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Clematis triloba diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Peter Thunberg pada tahun 1800.
