Commiphora cyclophylla merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Burseraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ethiopia timur dan selatan hingga Kenya timur laut. Nama ilmiah Commiphora cyclophylla diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Emilio Chiovenda pada tahun 1932.
