Commiphora edulis subsp. holosericea merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Burseraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kenya hingga Tanzania timur laut. Nama ilmiah Commiphora edulis subsp. holosericea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Gustav Adolf Engler pada tahun 1991.
