Cosmos diversifolius adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Guatemala. Nama ilmiah Cosmos diversifolius pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christoph Friedrich Otto pada tahun 1838.
