Cosmos intercedens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Meksiko (Nayarit, Jalisco, Colima). Nama ilmiah Cosmos intercedens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Earl Edward Sherff pada tahun 1964.
