Crataegus viridis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian utara-tengah dan timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan green hawthorn. Nama ilmiah Crataegus viridis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1753.
