Cryptanthus capitatus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Bromeliaceae (suku nanas-nanasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Espírito Santo). Nama ilmiah Cryptanthus capitatus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Elton Leme pada tahun 1994.
