OREGANILLO FALSO Cynometraportoricensis Krug & Urb.
Cynometra portoricensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Hispaniola hingga Puerto Rico. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan oreganillo falso. Nama ilmiah Cynometra portoricensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Karl (Carl) Wilhelm Leopold Krug pada tahun 1899.
