Datura leichhardtii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko tengah dan barat daya. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan leichhardt's datura. Nama ilmiah Datura leichhardtii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George Bentham pada tahun 1868.
