Daucus conchitae merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan) yang memiliki siklus hidup dua musim (biennial). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kepulauan Aegea timur (Kastelorizo) hingga Türkiye barat daya. Nama ilmiah Daucus conchitae diperkenalkan oleh Werner Rodolfo Greuter pada tahun 1979.
