Didymocarpus macrophyllus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Gesneriaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nepal hingga Bhutan. Nama ilmiah Didymocarpus macrophyllus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nathaniel Wallich pada tahun 1825.
