Dipterocarpus hispidus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Dipterocarpaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Sri Lanka. Nama ilmiah Dipterocarpus hispidus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Henry Kendrick Thwaites pada tahun 1858.
