Disanthus cercidifolius merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Hamamelidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Jepang (selatan-tengah dan Honshu selatan, Shikoku). Nama ilmiah Disanthus cercidifolius diperkenalkan oleh Carl Maximowicz pada tahun 1866.
