Dodonaea viscosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Sapindaceae (suku lerak-lerakan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis dan subtropis. Di Indonesia tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan nama cantigi (Sunda), kayu mesen (Jawa), atau sikil (Melayu). Nama ilmiah Dodonaea viscosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin pada tahun 1760.
