Dracaena ovata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Asparagaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika barat dan barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Dracaena ovata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Charles Henry Bellenden Ker pada tahun 1809.
