Drimia altissima merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asparagaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membetuk umbi lapis. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis Afrika dan Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Drimia altissima diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Linnaeus the Younger pada tahun 1808.
