Eleocharis congesta var. thermalis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim atau menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Rusia Timur Jauh hingga Korea dan Jepang. Nama ilmiah Eleocharis congesta var. thermalis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Oskar Eric Gunnar Hultén pada tahun 1961.
