Eleocharis elegans adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah kawasan tropis dan subtropis Amerika . Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan elegant spikerush. Nama ilmiah Eleocharis elegans diperkenalkan oleh Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1817.
