Eleocharis glauca adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Venezuela (Bolívar) hingga Brazil bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Eleocharis glauca diperkenalkan oleh Johann Otto Boeckeler pada tahun 1871.
