Eleocharis montana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis dan subtropis Amerika . Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan mountain spikerush. Nama ilmiah Eleocharis montana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1817.
