Eleocharis ravenelii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan rio grande spikerush. Nama ilmiah Eleocharis ravenelii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nathaniel Lord Britton pada tahun 1903.
