Eleocharis schaffneri adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim atau menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Amerika tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan schaffner's spikerush. Nama ilmiah Eleocharis schaffneri pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johann Otto Boeckeler pada tahun 1886.
