Eleocharis schlechteri merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Eleocharis schlechteri pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Baron Clarke pada tahun 1900.
