Eleocharis welwitschii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering. Nama ilmiah Eleocharis welwitschii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ernest Nelmes pada tahun 1958.
