Epacris purpurascens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah New South Wales. Nama ilmiah Epacris purpurascens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Sims pada tahun 1809.
