Epilobium leptophyllum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Onagraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Alaska hingga Amerika Serikat. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan bog willowherb. Nama ilmiah Epilobium leptophyllum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Constantine Samuel Rafinesque pada tahun 1814.
