Erica thunbergii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Erica thunbergii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Lars Jonasson Montin pada tahun 1775.
