Eriogonum aretioides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Utah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan red canyon buckwheat. Nama ilmiah Eriogonum aretioides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Rupert Charles Barneby pada tahun 1949.
