Eriogonum hylophilum merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Utah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan gate canyon buckwheat. Nama ilmiah Eriogonum hylophilum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis James Lauritz Reveal pada tahun 1967.
