Eriogonum smithii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Utah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan flat-top buckwheat. Nama ilmiah Eriogonum smithii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis James Lauritz Reveal pada tahun 1967.
