Erythroxylum ovalifolium merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Erythroxylaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro). Nama ilmiah Erythroxylum ovalifolium diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johann Joseph Peyritsch pada tahun 1878.
