Erythroxylum pungens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Erythroxylaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil timur laut. Nama ilmiah Erythroxylum pungens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Otto Eugen Schulz pada tahun 1907.
