Erythroxylum squamatum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Erythroxylaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Lesser Antilles hingga kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Erythroxylum squamatum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Olof Peter Swartz pada tahun 1788.
