Espeletia marcescens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis di wilayah Venezuela (Mérida, Táchira). Nama ilmiah Espeletia marcescens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Sidney Fay Blake pada tahun 1924.
