Eucomis comosa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asparagaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membetuk umbi lapis. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Provinsi Cape timur hingga KwaZulu-Natal. Nama ilmiah Eucomis comosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Maarten Houttuyn pada tahun 1929.
